Alber / Alber windowsill is a modern next-generation solution made using high-quality moisture-resistant premium plywood of Estonian and Finnish production, combined with multilayer HPL plastic Egger on a paper base.
The core of the windowsill is a durable composite material produced by cross-bonding layers of high-grade birch veneer under high pressure and temperature. This technology forms a multilayer wooden monolith that ensures high mechanical strength, shape stability, and complete resistance to deformation even in conditions of high humidity and sharp temperature changes. Unlike traditional wooden products, Alber / Alber windowsills retain their performance characteristics for many years.
The external HPL Egger (Austria) surface is a world-renowned material known for its exceptional wear resistance, resistance to scratches, abrasion, and mechanical damage. Thanks to this, Alber / Alber windowsills are perfectly suited for both residential and commercial spaces with high operational loads.
A unique windowsill with a maximum width of up to 1100 mm, making it one of the widest solutions on the market. We manufacture windowsills to individual dimensions according to your needs, with an order lead time of only 7–10 days.
The maximum windowsill length reaches up to 4800 mm when the width is up to 600 mm. If the width exceeds 600 mm, the allowable length is up to 2950 mm without compromising structural strength and stability.

The front edge of the windowsill (nose profile) is available in several design options: straight edge, rounded edge, or fully cut edge, allowing you to choose the optimal solution for any interior.
How to correctly measure a windowsill
Measurement is carried out in two stages: determining the length (along the window) and the width (depth from the window into the room).
1. Windowsill length
- Measure the width of the window opening along the inner reveals (those closer to the room, as reveals may be angled).
- Side overhangs (“ears”): traditionally +5 cm is added on each side.
Please note: side overhangs are made only at your request. You can order a windowsill without them if required by the interior design.
2. Windowsill width (depth)
The distance from the support strip under the window frame to the edge of the capinos (front nose).
- Measure the distance from the support strip to the wall.
- Add the desired overhang beyond the wall: recommended +30–50 mm, maximum 150 mm (to avoid blocking the flow of warm air from the radiator to the window).
The total width of the windowsill is always calculated including the capinos (front nose).
Important about the size range:
Available windowsill widths range from 100 mm to 600 mm.
Sizes are selected in 50 mm increments (for example: 100, 150, 200… 450, 500, 600 mm).
Custom cutting to size
Windowsills can be made up to 6 meters long.
Width: from 100 mm to 600 mm in 50 mm increments. Custom trimming available. For example, to obtain 270 mm width, a 300 mm windowsill is trimmed.
